Our Foundation SSCR received recently for the second time a certificate of thanks for our efforts in building new schools in Cambodja in the past years. The certificate is undersigned by the Cambodian Premier Mr. Hun Sen and is accomplished with a golden medal.

The mine clearing organisation, CMAC, has started this week with the mine clearing proces. Until now they have found already 3 mines!
Whenever the weather allows it (e.g. it does not rain) 4 CMAC members start early in the morning and have the assistance of 2 big German shepherd dogs. These dogs have been trained in Bosnie and therefore the Khmer language is very strange for them as they only understand commands in English. As everything goes according to plan the mine clearing work should be ready in 3 weeks time from now.
Unfortunately until now we are not allowed to take photo's when the men are at work with the dogs. We have asked for that permission yesterday at the head office of CMAC in Battambang and hopefully we will receive their permission to take photo's of the men at work with the dogs shortly from the "Big Boss" of CMAC.
